Other popular outlets will continue to sell Black Friday deals after Nov. 23, but expect to see them earlier in the month. For example, holiday sales begin the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, at Macy’s, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Target, Kmart, Walmart, Sears and Kmart, and they will ramp up to full gear the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Roughly 80 percent of shoppers made their shopping plans for Black Friday 2017 before Halloween, and 86 percent say that gift cards are the most desired gift they’ll receive for Black Friday, according to a study released by PayPal this week.
